- Lighting: A distinctive, seamless Horizon LED Daytime Running Light bar spans the front hood edge, with the main vertically stacked LED projector headlights positioned below.
- Wheels: Available wheel designs range from 17 to 19 inches, with 19-inch alloys standard on the SEL Premium and Limited trims.
- Features: Standard features include LED taillights, and higher trims offer a hands-free smart power liftgate and a wide-type power sunroof.
Interior & Technology
The cabin is designed with comfort and technology in mind, featuring a spacious feel despite its compact exterior dimensions.
- Cockpit: A modern digital cockpit includes an expansive 12.3-inch touchscreen display, with an available companion 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster on top trims.
- Connectivity: Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard across all trims, along with multiple USB ports and available wireless smartphone charging.
- Comfort: The interior offers H-Tex® seating surfaces, available heated and ventilated front seats, and a column-mounted shift-by-wire gear selector on some models, which frees up console space.

The 2026 Kona offers two powertrain options and is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features.
Engine Options:
- A standard 2.0L MPI 4-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower.
- An available 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers a more robust 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
- Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, and the HTRAC All Wheel Drive (AWD) system is an available option on all trims, boosting traction in varied conditions.
- Safety (Hyundai SmartSense): The vehicle comes standard with a plethora of driver-assist technologies, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Warning.
